Core Film module

​This course teaches you how to assess film content. The cost of the course is $451 per person.

You need to complete this module before attending the Additional Content Assessor, Authorised Television Series Assessor or Authorised Assessor Advertising Scheme (for unclassified films) training modules for the first time.

Core Computer Game module

This course teaches you how to assess computer game content. The cost of the course is $451 per person.

You need to complete this module before attending the Authorised Assessor Computer Games module or Authorised Assessor Advertising Scheme (for unclassified for computer games) training modules for the first time.

Additional Content Assessor (ACA) scheme module

​​This course teaches you how to make assessments of Additional Content for Film (other) applications. The cost of the course is $297 per person.

You will need to have completed the Core Film module before undertaking this course.

After being accredited to make ACA assessments for 12 months you will need to complete a refresher course to maintain your accreditation. This refresher course also costs $297.

Authorised Television Series Assessor (ATSA) scheme module

​This course teaches you how to make assessments of television series content where at least one episode has been screened in Australia to accompany ATSA applications. The cost of the course is $682 per person.

You will need to have completed the Core Film module before undertaking this course.

You will need to complete and return an assessment exercise after the training course to qualify for accreditation.

After being accredited for 12 months to make ATSA assessments you will need to complete a refresher course to maintain your accreditation. This refresher course costs $297.

Authorised Advertising Assessor (AAA) scheme module

​This course teaches you how to make assessments of the likely classification of computer games or films (up to R18+). The cost of the course is $297 per person.

You will need to have completed the Core Computer Games course (if you want to assess computer games) you unless you are a currently accredited Computer Games Authorised Assessor. You will need to complete the Core Film module (if you want to assess films) before undertaking this course, unless you are a currently accredited ACA or ATSA assessor.

After being accredited for 12 months to make computer games assessments you will need to complete a refresher course to maintain your accreditation. This refresher course also costs $297.

Computer Games Assessor module

This course teaches you how to make assessments of computer games likely to be rated M or below. The cost of the course is $297 per person.

You will need to have completed the Core Computer Game module before undertaking this course.

After being accredited for 12 months to make computer game assessments you will need to complete a refresher course to maintain your accreditation. This refresher course also costs $297.

Trained Content Assessor (TCA) scheme module

​This course has been developed to satisfy Schedule 7 of the Broadcasting Services Act to ensure commercial content providers are aware of the type of content that would be MA 15+ or higher.

This course teaches you how to make assessments of the probable classification of content. The cost of the course is $297 per person.

There is a refresher course available that costs $220.
