Database checks

You need to check the Classification database to see whether any of the material you will be submitting has been classified before.

If your game is a modified version of a previously classified computer game, you will need to get it classified unless the modification:

  • is a minor and/or technical modification, or a conversion from 2D to 3D (and vice versa), and
  • does not have a material effect on the gameplay of the original game, and
  • does not change the title of the original game, and
  • is not likely to cause the modified game to be given a different classification to the original game.
