How much does it cost?


The fee is based on the number of minutes of unclassified content.

The Classifiable Time Worksheet can work out the fee you need to pay. There are instructions to help you fill in the worksheet in the download.

If you want to speed up the processing time, it will cost an extra $420 for priority processing.

The fees are:

You can make a request to waive the fees. More information can be found in the fee waivers section.

Making a payment

You can pay the fee with a credit card on the Classification Portal or by direct deposit. Details are available on the application form, or you can contact if you need more information.

A receipt will be issued once your payment is made.

Your application will be processed after your payment is received. We can't issue an invoice for later payment of classification fees.
