​How much does it cost?

Fees

The fee is based on the number of minutes of unclassified content.

The fees are:

Running time Fee
0–60 minutes $1180
61–120 minutes $2180
121–180 minutes $2760
181–240 minutes $3540
More than 240 minutes $6540
Title change $190

 

If you are resubmitting an edited version of a classified film, you will need to pay for the entire length of the film.

You can make a request to the Director to waive the fees. More information can be found in the fee waivers section.

Making a payment

You can pay the fee with a credit card or by direct deposit details are available on the application form, or you can contact the Operations section if you need more information. You can also pay with a credit card on the Classification Portal.

A receipt will be issued once your payment is made.

Your application will be processed after your payment is received. We can't issue an invoice for later payment of classification fees.
