Why do I need to do this?

General rules

If you are holding an event such as a film festival or games expo you may wish to include unclassified films, computer games or submittable publications in your program. Only events that have been registered will be able to legally exhibit unclassified material. There is no fee to register your event. Registered events must comply with certain conditions to legally exhibit or display unclassified material.

Database checks

You need to search the Classification database to check whether any of the films, computer games or publications in your programme have a classification history before registering your event.
