Step3

Before you register

Account setup and portal login for new registrants

Before you can register an event you will need to set up an account for the organisation holding the event. To do this, open the link to the portal, click on "register your account information" and complete the online form. Please ensure you check the "Are you registering as an event organisation?" box. Refer to the Classification Portal User Guide for further instructions:

When you submit the form you will receive a confirmation email that the request has been received. Once the account has been created by our Accounts team you will receive a notification email to the email address you provided.

You should allow a minimum of two working days for your account to be set up if you have provided all the necessary information. If your details are unclear our Accounts team will be in contact to clarify.

Portal login credentials for new registrants

Once the organisation's account has been created you will automatically receive an email with login details to use when registering events for that organisation.

Once you have a user ID and password for an organisation you are able to create new user IDs for other people to allow them to submit registrations on behalf of the organisation.

Please be aware that if you already have portal login credentials for submitting commercial applications for classification you will need to provide a different email address to set up a different user ID for registering events

Account maintenance for existing registrants

If you are an existing client and your business contact details have changed, you need to tell us about the changes. You can do this yourself via the portal. Please refer to the Classification Portal User Guide: Registering an Event for instructions.

If you have changed your business name or ABN, please contact our Accounts team 02 9289 7100 to discuss your needs.
