An approved notice is a poster that describes the different classifications and explains any legal restrictions that may apply.
It is a statutory requirement to display an approved notice at cinemas and places where you can buy or hire DVDs and computer games.
The approved notice must be displayed in a prominent place, so we recommend that it be displayed at your point of sale i.e. on the counter or at the cashier. The notice is available in two forms and in different sizes.
