Review of the National Classification Scheme

20 April 2012: Review of the National Classification Scheme – Final Report released

On 1 March 2012, the Final Report of the Australian Law Reform Commission’s (ALRC) review of the National Classification Scheme was tabled in Parliament. Developments in technology, media convergence and the global availability of media content informed the review.

The Government is currently considering the recommendations of the Final Report.
