Classification markings that appear at the beginning of films and games
Films on DVD (and video) and computer games can use either a "tag" before the start or a "ticker" that appears during the beginning of the film or computer game. Tags must be at least 5 seconds long. All tags feature the classification, the classification description and the consumer advice that applies to the particular film or computer game. Tickers feature the classification and the consumer advice only.
Please note: These are low resolution examples only and cannot be downloaded for use as a marking. Their appearance here is purely for the purpose of showing you what they look like.
The consumer advice featured on the following tags and tickers are examples only and are not drawn from real products. Examples are in the form of the M classification.
