Classification markings on print publications

Print publications may be classified Unrestricted, Category 1 Restricted or Category 2 Restricted.

Each marking is white with black text on a black background.

How do I get the publications markings artwork I need to use?

You can download the artwork for the publications markings from this website in both .jpeg and .eps formats.

Examples of classification markings

Unrestricted publications:

Unrestricted

OR

Unrestricted Mature - Not recommended for readers under 15 years
Unrestricted publications cannot be sold or delivered unless the publication displays the relevant classification marking.

Category 1 Restricted publications:

Restricted Category 1 - Not available to persons under 18 years

OR

Category 1 Restricted - Not available to persons under 18 years

A Category 1 Restricted publication cannot be sold or delivered unless it is in a sealed package and the classification markings are displayed on the publications.

If the packaging is opaque, the classification markings must be displayed on both the publication and the packaging.

Category 2 Restricted publications:

Category 2 Restricted - Not available to persons under 18 years

OR

Restricted Category 2 - Not available to persons under 18 years
