What has to be Classified?
The Classification Board classifies (on application) films, computer games and certain publications.
There are offences under State and Territory classification enforcement laws for selling and exhibiting unclassified material. These enforcement laws essentially determine what must be classified.
More information on the State and Territory classification enforcement laws is available on the Attorney-General's Department website.
