The Minister for Home Affairs asked the Attorney-General’s Department to prepare an up to date summary of research into the impact of playing violent computer/video games. The primary focus of this review is the debate among psychologists about the effects of violent video games on aggression. Academic studies and other literature from 2000 to 2010 were included in the review.
