After the End is a U.S. drama film that follows a teenage survivor of a global pandemic event – a doomsday prepper who has prepared for everything except being lonely.

Themes

The film contains thematic content dealing with the aftermath of a global pandemic and the struggle to survive, both physically and mentally. There is a sense of threat and menace, and references to illness, death and sexual assault and forced pregnancy in order to ‘repopulate’.

Violence

The film contains violence including the use of guns, blades and a crossbow, as well as punching, kicking and the use of a rope to hang a character. The violence is at times accompanied by very limited blood detail. The film also contains verbal references to sexual violence.
