#ANNEFRANK: Parallel Stories is an Italian documentary, in which Helen Mirren presents the life of Anne Frank, and the lives of five women who survived the Holocaust. The film is in English, French and Italian with English subtitles.

Themes

The film contains black-and-white historical footage from World War II, including the aftermath of concentration camps and mass graves.

Violence

The film contains depictions of soldiers firing guns and throwing grenades as well as war ships firing shells. There are also depictions of dead bodies after the liberation of the concentration camps.

Language

The film contains a single use of the word, "shit".

Nudity

There are brief depictions of naked bodies during the aftermath of concentration camps. A young naked boy is briefly viewed while the work of Joseph Mengele is discussed.
