After being betrayed by the Hero’s party, Gideon moves to a borderland town and opens an apothecary, changing his name to Red and hoping to live an easy life on the frontier. However, keeping his former status a secret may not be as simple as he thinks. In this season, the former hero, Ruti, has followed Red in settling in the peaceful border town of Zoltan. Unfortunately, there's a new hero on the scene whose fundamentalist interpretation of his Blessing's urges will bring conflict and despair to their idyllic slow life.
