Better Man is a U.S., Australian, Chinese and UK biopic film following the story of music artist Robbie Williams, including his struggles with mental health and addiction. Robbie is represented by a realistically animated chimp character alongside the film's human actors.

Themes

The film contains themes relating to mental health, including depression, drug addiction, suicidal ideation, self doubt and references to self-harm. There is also crude humour, including crude sexual humour, themes of relationship discord and discreet references to abortion.
