C*A*U*G*H*T is an Australian satirical comedy series comprising six episodes in which four Australian soldiers are sent on a covert mission to war-torn Behati-Prinsloo. The soldiers are captured when mistaken for Americans, producing a hostage video that goes viral, turning them into unlikely celebrities.

Themes

The series contains themes including crude humour, terminal illness, marital dysfunction, torture, kidnapping and discriminatory language. A koala is implicitly stabbed with a knife and a character has a bullet removed from his anus within a comedic context.

Violence

The series contains violence between characters using automatic weapons, shotguns and grenades that result in blood spurts, spray and a decapitation. Characters engage in hand-to-hand combat as well as punching kicking and grappling. Post-action injury and blood detail is viewed.
