The Chosen: Last Supper is a U.S. drama film, the first in a series following events in the lead-up to Jesus's crucifixion. In this instalment, Jesus is welcomed to Jerusalem while religious and political leaders plot his death.

Themes

The film contains themes including scenes of a character appearing disturbed by thoughts and visions of implicitly future events, as well as scenes of characters talking of executions and scheming towards a character's death. Other thematic content relates to grief and religious devotion.

Violence

The film contains violence including the discreet use of swords and spears as well as kicking and shoving, with no accompanying blood or injury detail. A man is briefly seen with his clothing on fire during a highly stylised attack, and there are also verbal references to violence.
