The Code is a US drama film in which a sexless couple overtly and secretly film each other under the guise of making a COVID documentary.

Themes

The film contains themes relating to relationships, deceit, intimacy and sexual impotency. There is also content relating to the COVID pandemic and, discreetly, the 'Me Too' movement. A woman is shown repeatedly spiking her partner's food with an erectile dysfunction medication.

Violence

The film contains stylised violence where a knife is used to mime stabbing strangers, with unrealistic blood sprays and splatters edited by the characters over the top. There is also slapping and choking.

Sex
