Crimes of The Future is a Canadian/Greek co-produced science fiction film set in a future where the human ability to feel pain has diminished and an underground culture of body modification has developed. In this world, Saul Tenser, a celebrated performance artist, works with his assistant Caprice to publicly showcase the metamorphosis of his own internal organs.

Themes

This film features sequences of body-horror relating to consensual physical transformation, with an avant-garde artistic community exploring the boundaries of how much the body can evolve or be altered. Scenes of science fiction themed surgery are portrayed as performance art, with some explicit wound detail.

Violence

There is a scene of infanticide and a sequence in which a man is killed by being drilled in the back of the head.

Sex
