Dashcam is a horror film in which Annie Hardy, a right-wing internet personality who live streams out of her car, visits her former bandmate, Stretch, and they are attacked by a woman with supernatural abilities. The entire film is shot from the perspective of either Hardy's iPhone or the dashcam in her car, as she livestreams the events to her followers.

Themes

The film features a sustained sense of threat and menace and includes attacks by supernatural beings resulting in bloody injuries. The film also includes crude references to incest, sexual abuse and homophobia in Annie's frequent diatribes and in comments posted by her fans that appear on-screen.

Violence

The film includes bloody violence, including stabbings and throat slashes. A zombie's head is crushed in a gory, close-up view.
