The First Kiss That Never Ends is an animated Japanese romantic comedy based on the anime series Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, in which two students from Shuchiin Academy, Kaguya and Miyuki, explore their feelings for each other before Christmas. The film is in Japanese with English subtitles.

Themes

The film focuses on the interpersonal, romantic relationship between two characters. Thematic content includes a verbal reference to family violence including a scene in which an adult is viewed using a stick to whip his hand. Another character references how he and his son fathered children at 17 years of age.

Violence

The film contains highly-stylised animation of characters hitting each other with a closed fan as well as kicking, slapping and wrestling each other.

Sex

The film contains verbal sexual references and a brief scene of sexualised imagery in which a character's bikini brief is viewed in extreme close-up.
