Teddy Sharpe (Lou Diamond Phillips) is a cop with the Thunderstone Tribal Police Department who has dedicated himself to protecting the troubled reserve. Tormented by a mysterious shame that has isolated him from the community, he is tasked with teaching his new partner how policing is different on the res. Meanwhile, recently released from prison and now on the run for a series of gangland murders, Richie Blacklance returns to Thunderstone to lay low, settle old feuds and take his 15 year
old nephew. Teddy is forced to face his past in hopes of finally finding redemption and ending a perpetual cycle of violence plaguing the community.
