Ngọc is a single mother who has a child through IVF using donated sperm. On a seaside getaway to change her surroundings and escape her past, she and Tô unexpectedly encounter Hồng, a free-spirited fisherman who also happens to be the man who played a part in Tô’s birth.
This ironic meeting pulls three strangers into a series of situations that are by turns humorous and tense, as everything begins to spiral beyond plan and control. Is this “heaven-sent” father an unexpected gift of fate, or merely a cruel twist, a mischievous game played by life itself?
