A modified version of a previously classified film, The Invitation, a Hungarian/American horror film. After the death of her mother, Evie takes a DNA test and discovers a cousin she never knew about, who invites her to a family wedding in England. Evie soon learns her new family has some deep secrets. This revised version, known as ‘Extended Cut’, features additional footage as well as changes to visual effects and dialogue in several sequences.

Themes

The film contains horror themes, including blood-sucking vampires, and a suicide. There are examples of bloody injury detail, including a severed head and hand.

Violence

The film includes stabbings and impaling deaths with blood detail. A character's wrist is severed by a piece of wire and a woman's throat is slashed with a large knife in order to drain her blood.

Sex

The film contains verbal sexual references and a sex scene.

Language

The film contains the words 'f**k', 'shit', 'ass', 'douchebag', and 'dammit'.
