John Wick: Chapter 4 is a US action film from the John Wick franchise. As the bounty on his head increases, Wick finds himself pursued by multiple assassins who are spurred on by a new foe, the ruthless Marquis.

Themes

The film focuses on an underground network of international assassins. There are multiple extended action sequences, including a scene in which numerous car accidents take place. A man is given a choice which involves potential self-harm.

Violence

The film contains extended scenes of action violence, with melee combat and frequent examples of choreographed martial arts-style fighting. The number of casualties is very high but the stunt-work and levels of endurance of the participants contributes to a lack of realism. Weapons include swords, knives, sticks, nunchucks and other objects. There are frequent examples of brief blood-spray which is sometimes impressionistic or in silhouette, but minimal focus on wound or injury detail.

Language

The film contains use of the words 'f**k', 'shit', 'bastard', 'ass' and 'hell'.

Nudity

The film contains a scene in which breast nudity is visible in a classical painting.
