Themes

The film's themes, which are linked to the film's violence, relate to acts of terrorism and include a brief depiction of a decapitation where the dark and grainy footage is being viewed at a distance on a CCTV monitor, depictions of an improvised explosive device (IED) exploding and injury detail in a surgical context. A man is depicted implicitly catching on fire in a field, no injury detail is depicted and the man survives.
