When Master Shan's (Hui Shiu Hung) wife mysteriously disappears, it leaves both him and his daughter Yi Jing (Samantha Ko) forever changed. Years later, his devoted apprentice Cheng Hao Ren (Philip Keung) has mastered the art of locksmithing, a skill so exceptional that the police, including his friend Officer Liu Ye Chen (Raymond Wong), regularly call upon him.
But when Hao Ren crosses paths with an old acquaintance, Lee Quan Kai (Chen Puie Kong), a chain of unsettling events begins. A haunting harmonica melody from his new neighbour Miss Guan (Yumi Wong) stirs buried secrets, and a routine locksmithing job suddenly places Hao Ren at the centre of a murder investigation.
As the truth behind Master Shan's wife's fate slowly surfaces, Hao Ren must face the one lock he may never be able to open. The one inside his own heart.
