LUNAR Remastered Collection features remastered editions of the RPG adventure games LUNAR Silver Star Story and LUNAR 2: Eternal Blue, in which the player embarks on adventurous, magical quests and engages in strategic, turn-based battles. The game features a mix of retro-style pixelated graphics and anime-style animations, and both top-down and isometric gameplay.

Themes

The game contains fantasy themes relating to magic, humans turning into demons and beasts, and fantastical creatures ranging from dragons and slime monsters to giant toys and toothed plants.

Violence

The game contains violence that, in some cutscenes, includes biting with highly stylised blood detail. Gameplay violence involves turn-based battles against enemy creatures using magic and weapons including swords and staffs, with no blood or injury detail.

Sex
