Maitighar is a Nepalese comedy drama film about two young people, Purnima and Danphe, whose families arrange a marriage between them much to Purnima's dismay, as she is in love with another. Purnima's grandfather, in an effort to help break up the wedding, decides to invoke an old pre-wedding tradition. The film is in Nepalese with English subtitles.
