Mia, a typical fifteen-year-old portrayed by the talented newcomer Greta Gasbarri, enjoys an idyllic life with her loving parents Sergio and Valeria (Edoardo Leo and Milena Mancini). Their days are filled with ordinary family moments—debates over curfews, visits to the local pizzeria, and cheering at volleyball games.
However, this tranquility shatters when Marco (Riccardo Mandolini, Baby), a mysterious and intense older boy, enters Mia’s world. Initially charming, Marco’s true colours emerge as he becomes controlling, isolating Mia from her friends and family. When her parents attempt to intervene and distance Mia from his influence, the stakes escalate dramatically. Sergio, Mia’s unwavering father, embarks on a quest for justice, revealing the powerful bond between father and daughter.
Mia is a poignant exploration of love and the dark side of modern connections, that audiences will continue to think about long after the curtains close.
