The Midwich Cuckoos

The film consists of seven episodes of The Midwich Cuckoos, a British adaptation of the book of the same name. The people of the village of Midwich fall unconscious simultaneously on May 6th. When they awaken, all of the female residents find that they are pregnant. Over the next several years, the residents become suspicious and paranoid of the resulting group of children while the government takes an immediate interest in their mental abilities.
