Three-part docuseries traces the events leading up to the 2019 murder of young Brazilian actor Rafael Miguel – best known for his role in the 2013 telenovela Chiquititas – and his parents. After falling in love and exchanging wedding rings, Rafael and his girlfriend Isabella plan for their future together – despite disapproval from her father, Paulo Cupertino, who has forbidden his daughter from being in any relationship. As Isabella grows increasingly distraught, Rafael and his parents' spur of the moment attempt to reach a compromise with Paulo ends in violence.
