A Plague Tale: Requiem is an action adventure role-playing game, a sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. Six months later than the first game, Amicia and Hugo search for a cure for his blood disease in Southern France. The player controls Amicia, a young woman tasked with protecting her brother from marauding Inquisition soldiers and hordes of aggressive rats. The game contains no online interactivity.

Themes

The game contains supernatural themes, including hordes of rats that destroy cities and kill people. Due to the Black Plague spreading through the locality, there are scenes featuring large numbers of dead bodies and animals, with associated blood, gore and decomposition.

Violence

The player-controlled character fights using slings, knives and other light weapons. Some of these interactions cause sprays of bright red blood, and there are environments in the game which contain large amounts of blood splatter.

Language

The game contains use of the word "F**k", "shit" and "damn".
