Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is a simulation game in which the player adopts the role of a police officer in the fictional US city of Brighton, undertaking law enforcement duties and dealing with incidents.

Themes

The player investigates different examples of criminal behaviour, including drug possession and dealing, DUI incidents and theft. Breath tests are administered to check if a character is intoxicated. Traffic accidents are included, although only as post-action scenes and without visible evidence of injury to the victims.

Violence

The player carries a taser and handgun. Firing the taser will cause a suspect to fall to the ground temporarily. The gun can be used as a tool to apprehend suspects, but any discharging of the weapon results in the end of the game. There is no blood or injury detail.

Drug use

Suspects might be found to carry marijuana or bags of white powder. The drugs and actual drug-taking are not depicted. The player can make arrests for both possession and dealing of illicit substances.

Online interactivity

The game features online interactivity in the form of in-game chat using pre-defined message options. The game also features in-game purchasing of objects.
