Raado is an Indian action film, in which religion, politics and family collide when a hospital suffers a blackout, causing the death of several patients on life support. The film is in Gujarati with English subtitles.

Themes

A city is thrown into turmoil when a holy man dies as the result of a electrical outage at a hospital. The ensuing riots escalate as different factions of power take revenge on each other for the actions taken against them.

Violence

The film contains frequent scenes of destruction caused by hundreds of rioting people, including cars being set alight and people being beaten. There are several people who are shot and killed with firearms, including some blood spray.

Sex

A young woman jokingly tells a friend that she has been sleeping with her boyfriend. The friend is upset and confronts her boyfriend over the phone.

Language

The film contains use of a word which appears in the subtitles "motherf-" as well as uses of the words "shit", "piss" , "hell" and "bloody".
