Redemption Of A Rogue is a darkly comic Irish film in which a depressed Jimmy Cullen returns to his hometown to see his dying father, armed with a plan to end his own life.

Themes

The films contains frequent verbal references to the suicidal intent of the main character, as well as several brief depictions of suicide attempts, both real and imagined. The film also contains examples of edgy and crude humour and a discreet depiction of a car accident which leaves a character in a wheelchair.

Violence

The film contains scenes in which a father threatens to hit his son and several fight scenes, including a sequence in which a mob attacks a man, leaving him with a bloody face.

Sex

The film contains verbal sexual references and a sex scene that includes a brief depiction of semen on clothing and a hand.
