Rumours is a German/Canadian dark comedy film in which the leaders of seven wealthy democracies get lost in the woods while drafting a statement on a global crisis, facing danger as they attempt to find their way out.

Themes

The film contains themes related to an apocalypse, supernatural zombie-type creatures, survival and political intrigue. There is a scene of self-sacrifice, as well as an implied suicide in the context of escaping impending doom.
