Saint Kotar is a narrative-based, psychological horror game in which the player investigates the town of Sveti Kotar where a demonic presence preys on the weak. The player plays as two monks, Benedek and Nikolay, as they investigate devil worship, witchcraft and the occult in order to find Benedek’s missing sister.

Themes

The game includes frequent references to devil worship, witchcraft, the occult, human sacrifice, cannibalism, incest and torture. At times, the verbal references are accompanied by visual depictions of torture victims and corpses including skinned humans.

Violence

The game includes frequent references to violent torture, murder and cannibalism. At times, visual depictions of bloodied murder and torture victims are depicted. The game also includes infrequent references to sexual violence.

The game includes brief verbal references to sexual activity including phrases such as “breed with” and “sexual intercourse”.
