Sid Meier's Civilization® VII is a turn-based strategy game that covers the whole of human history divided into three specific “Ages”: Antiquity Age,Exploration Age, and Modern Age. The player takes control of a historical leader and a historically inspired civilization in order to guide their civilization through to the Modern Age. Starting with a single village, the player must make decisions on what to construct, what to research for scientific advancement, diplomatic needs, when to go to war, and what social policies to invest in. The aim is to lead the player's civilization to a “Victory”.
