Star Trek: resurgence is a narrative, third person, interactive, science fiction game set in the Star Trek story universe. The game features dialogue choices, relationship building, and exploration in various gameplay styles including problem-solving and battle-play. Assuming the role of either First Officer, Jara Rydek, or engineering Crewperson, Carter Diaz, onboard the U.S.S. Resolute, the player determines the course of the story, with the ultimate objective being the character’s survival.
