The Strangers: Chapter 1 is a U.S. horror film that follows young couple Maya and Ryan as they are stalked and tormented by three masked strangers at a cabin in an unfamiliar town.

Themes

The film contains a sense of threat throughout, with characters stalked and terrorised by masked figures.

Violence

The film contains violence including scenes where characters are stabbed with knives. There is also the use of a shotgun, and the violent use of a motor vehicle. In some scenes, the violence is accompanied by blood detail.
