The Suicide Squad is an action fantasy film about a crew of imprisoned supervillains recruited by a secret government agency to execute a dangerous mission and save the world.

Themes

Thematic content includes references to a drug overdose, depictions of injury detail, torture, and scientific experimentation on civilians.

Violence

The film contains frequent fight scenes that feature large blood sprays and dismemberment. There are frequent depictions of graphic wounds, including flesh and organ detail.

Sex

The film contains verbal sexual references including a reference to “sixty-nine” and a woman referring to a man’s genitals as “that beautiful monster between your legs”.
