Minnie and Quinn are born on New Year's Day, in the same hospital, one minute apart. Their lives may begin together, but their worlds couldn't be more different. Thirty years later, when Minnie unexpectedly runs into Quinn at a New Year’s party on their mutual birthday, she sees that fortune has certainly favoured him through life. The gorgeous, charming business owner truly seems to have it all – while Minnie is on the brink of losing her pie-making business and her home.
No matter how much chemistry they have nor how perfect they are for one another, Minnie is determined not to fall for Quinn. However, as their paths continue to cross over the course of the year, it soon becomes clear that Quinn’s life may not be as perfect as Minnie first thought. Perhaps fate is trying to bring them together…
