Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games Is Tough for Mobs, said to be season 1, comprises 12 episodes of a Japanese action anime comedy in which a salaryman is reincarnated into a dating simulation game, which he was forced to complete by his sister.

The series is set in a fantasy floating world within a computer game in which characters use magical abilities, cast spells and fight battles in mech suits against fantasy monsters and enemies. The series also includes verbal references to bullying.
