Tulsa King, said to be season 1, is an American crime drama television series in which a former New York mafia capo is released from prison and sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma to set up an organised crime network. The series also contains several behind the scenes featurettes that include interviews with cast members, writers, directors and production crew.

Themes

The series features themes related to murder, organised crime, drug dealing, police investigations, terminal illness and bereavement.

Violence

The series contains violence in which characters engage in hand-to-hand combat as well as using guns and various melee weapons which result in accompanying blood sprays and brief injury detail. There is a discreet verbal reference to sexual violence.
