In January 2020, a film crew reunites near Wuhan to resume the shooting of a film halted ten years earlier, only to share the unexpected challenges as cities are placed under lockdown. After reviewing some of the earlier footage, the re-assembled cast and crew reflect on how their lives have changed and while devising new scenes to re-start the production, the Covid breakout in Wuhan rapidly traps them in hotel isolation and the nexessity to communicate through telephone and zoom. When the lockdown is lifted they witness the aftermath and protests of the handling of the crisis.
