Vampire Zombies From Space is a Canadian horror-comedy film in which a small town battles a plague of vampire zombies created by Dracula himself.

Themes

The film contains comedic horror themes and scenes of comical blood and gore, including highly stylised depictions of intestines, body cavities, dismemberments and blood sprays resulting from attacks of 'vampire zombies'. There are also scenes of crude humour and harassment, and a comedic scene of a man striking himself with an axe to avoid becoming a vampire zombie.
