Voyagers is a US science fiction film set in the near future. As life on Earth becomes unsustainable, a group of 30 youngsters are sent into space so that their grandchildren can ultimately repopulate a new planet. After learning that their behaviour is being controlled by impulse-suppressing drugs, the young adult crew rebels, leading to a breakdown in order as two warring factions develop.

Themes

The film contains moderate science fiction themes and scenes of peril, including a sequence where a character appears to be attacked by a mysterious alien entity. In a subsequent scene, some wound detail is evident on the face and body of the victim.

Violence

The film contains a sequence where a mob attacks and kills a character by punching and kicking him repeatedly. The corpse is depicted afterwards with a large amount of blood on the face and head. A character is shot with a futuristic gun-like weapon, resulting in some bloody wound detail. The film also contains a sequence of sexual threat in which a male character repeatedly grabs a female character's breast as she attempts to resist him.
