The Wedding Banquet © 2025 is an American romantic comedy film in which a Seattle lesbian couple, Angela and Lee, and their gay best friends, Chris and Min, get themselves into an entanglement when Min offers to pay for Lee’s next IVF, if Angela agrees to marry him, so he can secure a green card. Deriving humour from culture clash, Min's grandmother surprises them with an extravagant Korean wedding banquet. This film is a re-imagining of the 1993 joint Taiwanese-American film with the same title.
